# TradePigeon Privacy Policy

**Last updated:** October 3, 2026

Plain version: we collect what we need to run your journal, we never sell it, and you can delete everything yourself at any time.

## What we collect
- **Your account:** email address, name, and a user ID (when you sign up with email or Google).
- **Your journal:** the trades you type in or import (symbol, side, size, prices, times, P&L, fees), the labels you give them, your notes, playbooks, and daily lesson progress.
- **Payments:** handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- **On your device:** your journal is also saved in your browser so the app works fast and offline.

We do **not** ask for or store your broker username, password, or API keys.

## Who processes your data for us
- **Google Firebase**: sign-in and the cloud copy of your journal, so it syncs across your devices.
- **Vercel**: hosts the website and our server functions.
- **Stripe**: subscriptions and payments.
- **Google Gemini**: only when you ask for an AI debrief, we send that day's trades and notes to generate it.
- **Discord**: when you sign up, your name and email are sent to the founder's private Discord channel so we can welcome new users.

These services may store data on servers outside your country.

## What we never do
We never sell, rent, or share your trading data or personal data with brokers, prop firms, advertisers, or anyone else.

## Keeping and deleting your data
- We keep your data while you have an account.
- **Delete it yourself:** Profile → "Delete my account and data" permanently removes your journal and login from our servers.
- **Export it:** Profile lets you download your trades (CSV) and a full backup at any time.
- Stripe keeps payment records as required by law, even after you delete your account.
